Sent by Denethor to warn Rohan of the coming threat, Hirgon was killed as he returned from bearing the Red Arrow. Four years later he returned to work and life, riding messages for the king instead of for the Steward but an errand rider of Gondor just the same as he has been for twelve years...well before those four years he was dead...
Hirgon is played by Sar and is riding around Middle Earth as Josh Groban
